How to Measure your Dog
Dog Back Measurement, Dog Chest Measurement and Dog Collar Measurement

From our own experience it is essential to measure your dog as accurately as possible. Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, even specific breeds can differ. Manufacturers have their own size ranges so please don't rely on terms like Small, Medium and Large. Measure your dog accurately and our products will fit perfectly and look their best.
Back Measurement
Depending on the product the back measurement could be less important, for example a sweater will not necessarily cover the full length of your dog's back. However a coat or jacket will need to cover the full length of their back. To measure your dogs back place one end of the fabric tape at the base of your dog's tail and measure to the nape of the neck.

Chest Size
For clothing other than coats and jackets this is the more important of the two measurements. To measure your dog's chest, measure the fullest part of your dog's chest, keeping the measuring tape inline around the body. Allow two fingers between your dog's chest and measuring tape for comfort.

Collar Size
If you have an existing collar that fits correctly, lay the collar flat and measure from where the fabric or leather is attached to the buckle, to the hole you use to secure the collar. Alternatively, using a fabric tape measure, measure around the lower part of you dog's neck, or where the collar is most likely to rest. Allow two fingers between your dog's neck and measuring tape to ensure a comfortable fit.
